Sulfo-SMCC crosslinking reagent is a water soluble, heterobifunctional crosslinker. Sulfo-SMCC crosslinking reagent has an 8.3 angstrom non-cleavable spacer arm and its maleimide group reacts with sulfhydryls (thiols), while the Sulfo-NHS ester is reactive toward primary amines. Sulfo-SMCC crosslinking reagent can be used to label cell surface proteins. Spacer Length: 8.3 Å.
